Ilyse is an Ironman triathlete, marathoner and is devoted to dietary health. She is attracted to challenges; especially fitness and athletic challenges.

She enjoys watching her kid’s sporting events and spending time with her large but close family. She loves to know what makes people tick which fits in well with her role as hygienist.

Hello! My name is Maria. I have been a dental assistant for 15 years. I am very passionate about what I do here with Dr. Fondriest. I love spending time with my patients and helping them feel at ease. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and be an extra support during your time spent in our office. On a personal note, I live in Kenosha but originally from Carolina, Puerto Rico. I am married to a wonderful loving husband. We have 3 beautiful girls which we adore. Our dog Lucy, is a year old Teddy Bear breed. She is a cutie!! We enjoy nature and all the wonders life brings our way. Florida is our favorite vacation destination and we continue to explore the state. I love to cook and enjoy making mainland dishes from Puerto Rico and Colombia (my husband’s family home). We like to embrace our culture and teach our girls of their roots. I also enjoy maintaining good health and I stay active by exercising and doing Cross fit.
