Adell Frye, RDH

ADELL FRYE RDH, HYGIENIST

As a licensed hygienist for almost seven years, Adell is a motivated educator. "Nothing makes me feel more gratified than having a patient say, No one has ever told me that before!" She is passionate in her support of patients by raising their awareness for better health and well being. "I am also deeply grateful to know that if one of my patients needs dental treatment, they will be cared for by Dr. Fondriest and our staff at a level that is truly exceptional in the dental field."

Adell "loves getting to know the patients: everyone's story is different and special." She shares her capacities for listening and care giving with her husband Amson Richardeau, and her three daughters Elle, Emma and Ezarria. She volunteers regularly at her children's schools and church community. Taking neighborhood walks with her family and watching "all kinds of movies" are the simple pleasures that make Adell smile.

 
 

BARBARA JOYE, OFFICE MANAGER

Barbara sees herself as "not only a manager, but as a patient advocate and practice facilitator." First and foremost, she supports the patients in achieving their personal, optimal goals for oral health, function and beauty. "My dental story includes catastrophic tooth loss and full mouth reconstruction that in many ways parallels my own path of personal growth and living a life of deeper meaning. I understand at EVERY level, the challenges that patients face....emotionally, financially, physically and even spiritually...when they choose to improve their health and the smile they show to the world."

Barbara joined Lake Forest Dental Arts in 1996, bringing a strong sense of leadership through Service. As the founder of Invocations at Acorn Cottage, she facilitates personal growth retreats and workshops. Also a founding member of the non-profit organization, It Can Be Done, she travels, writes and works for improved health and living through clean water access in Tanzania, Africa. She is joined in this global community endeavor by her son, Jeremy, and is cheered on by her other adult children, Nathan and Mary Elizabeth.

DEBBIE McCANN RDH, COORDINATOR

Debbie began her dental career in 1980 as a dental hygienist. She has found a renewed sense of purpose in her current role as a patient coordinator. She brings heart felt support to both patients and staff, whether assisting clinically or administratively. "In my capacity as a coordinator and chair side assistant, I am a part of patients' dental journeys from beginning to end. It's exciting to assist with such deeply transformative dental makeovers...and to help people smile with new joy and confidence!"

Debbie delights in her dachsunds, Max and Chip and her 'Heinz 57' beloved dog, Sunny. She "loves to read, flower garden and entertain." With her husband, Patrick, she is the proud mom of two sons, Michael and Matthew, and one daughter, Marissa.

 
 

KELLY GOMEZ RDH, CLINICAL ASSISTANT

Kelly brings a sense of humor and a "great appreciation for our staff camaraderie" to work everyday. "Much more than just a job... there is real caring for our patients here. We don't take care of just mouths; we truly care for and about every one of our patients." Kelly is also "very proud of the high quality dentistry done at our practice. As an over achiever, I come to work happy knowing that our patients really are getting the best possible treatment here."

Raised in Mendota, Illinois, Kelly shares her small town values with her husband, David, her daughter, Alexis and son Aidan. She's a former gymnast and loves "summer fun" including boating, water skiing and vacationing at beach destinations. She hopes to travel more in the future, and enjoys "talking to patients about where they've lived and what they've seen in their travels"

SHEILA LEE, CLINICAL ASSISTANT

A graduate of UIC in Biological Science, Sheila joined Lake Forest Dental Arts in 2003. Providing a second pair of hands to the doctor and caring, hands on support for the patients, she feels deep personal and professional satisfaction being an integral part of the smile makeovers. "I am always happy watching our patients' self esteem improve... seeing them literally look years younger... and a new sparkle that comes into their eyes as their smile is transformed." A self proclaimed 'teller of good jokes and tall tales', she "especially loves listening to and sharing stories with our patients."

Sheila and her husband of 7 years, Chuck Igolnikov, are the proud new parents of baby daughter Raqhil Lee. While adjusting to new parenthood at her Wilmette home, Sheila enjoys spending time with family and good friends and "dreams of the time when I will get 8 hours of straight sleep."
