Ladies, it’s almost time to grab your best shoes and your best friends to head out to Mothers Trust Foundation’s 17th Annual Betty Bash. MTF will be hosting the event at the Gorton Community Center from 7 to 11 p.m. on October 23, 2015. This year’s theme is A Whole New World. There will be food, cocktails and a silent auction to fill the night with fun, and all proceeds from the event will benefit MTF, which has been serving Lake County children since 1998. Tickets are $90, each, and may be purchased online at https://motherstrustfoundation.schoolauction.net/bettybash2015/tickets/ticket_sales. Gorton Community Center is located at 400 E Illinois Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045.
The Many Ways You Can Help
Mothers Trust Foundation is a charitable organization founded by Barbara Monsor, who spent 18 years serving through the Youth Guidance in Chicago. She founded MTF in order to provide emergency assistance to children in the Lake County area. Monsor’s hope was to give assistance to those in the greatest need, and to make a real life-changing difference in the life of children. MTF has helped more than 25,000 children and their families since its founding. The annual Betty’s Bash is one of its biggest fundraisers of the year, but MTF also hosts an annual Founders Celebration, a Golf Classic and a networking fair. Check their website, at http://www.motherstrustfoundation.org/how-you-can-help/, for more on these and other events, as well as other ways you can help.
